Ark Clinical Research today announced the promotion of Mike Delgado to Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), effective September 8, 2025. In this role, Mike will lead Ark’s clinical operations across sites, with responsibility for patient experience, study execution, enrollment performance, and operational quality.
As CCO, Mike will oversee site operations and support Site Directors, align clinical teams and SOPs, and advance data-driven processes that improve predictability, speed, and quality for sponsors and participants. His goals include strengthening patient recruitment and retention, elevating the site experience, and ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across Ark’s sites.

Mike Delgado is a highly qualified clinical research professional with over 20 years of experience spanning roles from study coordination to site management across all phases of research. He has worked across a broad range of indications, including metabolic and liver disease. In his current role, Mike combines firsthand operational leadership with patient recruitment and overall strategy for Ark’s studies, while supporting staff mentorship and training as part of Ark’s leadership team.
